    Yesterday Rosalie got her cast off. She has been on crutches for 7 weeks. So naturally the walking is taking some time. Doctor says it could take a week or so before she is ready to completely be off crutches. But at least she is healing well. Now we hope the growth plate will do its job again.
    Today I took Joseph to get his learner's permit. He drove the car home!!!!
    The new strawberry plants are all planted. We have several flats of peppers to put out yet.

     We just got back from the hospital this afternoon. One week ago I was sighing a relief that the tax deadline (April 15) was here and work would become a little less taxing.  I work as a tax preparer. That evening Rosalie broke her ankle while jumping on the trampoline. On Friday we learned it would need surgery since she had broken the growth plate and twisted it. So Monday morning we headed to the hospital for surgery. She now has 2 pins in it that will eventually be removed. I am exhausted.....
     On another note 16 years ago I gave birth to my first child. Just where has the time gone? I haven't had any time to bake a cake so I hope we can maybe just go and get ice cream cones tonight. I wanted to do something special for him and now this all happened with Rosalie.
